ited her grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Kenneth Palmer, on
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Jones and
Virginia Peck visited Willows
Grange on Wednesday. The
evening started with a lovely
potluck dinner. The program
was a movie provided by the
Oregon State Police and was
shown by Carl Martin.
Following a fine business
meeting several readings on
Valentines Day were given by
Marilyn Childers. Delpha
Jones and Virginia Peck. A
quiz on the counties in Oregon,
and a prize was won by Delpha
Jones.
Virginia Peck is the newly

be shown Sunday
"God's Prison Gang," a
newly released film featuring
AJ C pone's getaway driver,
the last member of Bonnie and
Gyde's gang and two other
notorious criminals who have
become Christians, will be
shown at the First Christian
Church, 293 N. Gale St., on
Sunday, Feb. 19. The showing
Is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.,
says the Rev. Don Shelton,
pastor of the church.
The film, shot behind the
walls of New York's AtUca
prison, is hosted by Art Link

ternational Prison Ministry
has changed the lives of thous
ands of inmates over the past
18 years.
Shelton says he hopes all
citizens concerned about the
problem of rising crime will
attend the free screening of
the film.

A special service will be
held at the Heppner Nazarene
Church on Sunday, Feb. 19, at
t p.m. Guest speaker will be
Juan R. Vazquez-Pla. He Is an
ordained minister of the
Church of the Nazarene In
Puerto Rico. Presently he is
the coordinator of Latin Amer
ican Media Resources for
media services including the
division of communications.
He is also the director of radio
and television for the Mexico,
Central America and the Cari
Caribbean region, and for the
South American region.
The Rev. Floyd Wilks, pas
tor of the Heppner church,
worked with Vazquez-Pla
while on a mission is Costa
Rica two years ago.
