nounce it "rye") is recog
nized by the U.S. Public
Health Service ii one of
the top ten killers among
children's disease.
The U.S. Surgeon General
has issued a warning to par
ents: "Don't immediately
give aspirin or any medica
tion containing aspirin to
children with chicken pox
or flu." Check first with
your doctor. The relation
ship between Reye'a and
aspirin is suspected, not
proven.
Reye's syndrome most of

Mr. Clifford Aldrich of Heppner and Mrs. Gloria Klimas
chesky of Portland announce the engagement of their
daughter. Arietta D. Aldrich, to Mark J. Klimaschesky, son
of Mr. Vernen Klimaschesky of Portland and Mrs. Patricia
Goldsmith of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Miss Aldrich is a 1979 graduate of lone High School. She is
employed by Western Industrial Ceramics, Portland. Kli
maschesky is 1980 graduate of West Valley High School,
Fairbanks. He is employed by the Lloyd Corporation in
Portland.
The couple plan a private February 29 ceremony. A
reception will be held March 3 from I to 6 p.m. at Donald Fire
Hall, Donald, Oregon. Everyone is invited to attend.
