There were 43 buyers and 77 consignors represented at
Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: The market didn't hit the highs of the
last 2 week's sales on light calves with fewer Individual and
more order buyers purchasing them. Yearlings were selling
steady to stronger. Heifers were steady with last week's
prices although earlier In the week they were reported to
have dropped off. Cows held steady with No. 1 bulls selling
$2 00 stronger.
NEXT SALE: Thursday, December 1st with 300 head of
Bred Stock Cows consigned for this sale. Also consigned are
150 head of 650 lb. steers and heifers, 150 head of 500 weight
calves, and 60 head of cross-bred light calves. There will not
be a sale this coming Thursday, November 24th, as this falls
on Thanksgiving Day. However, the entire staff of La Grande
Livestock hopes you have an enjoyable day with family and
friends. ,
