HHS 'C volleyball team
loses to Weston-McEwen
By DANAREID
The Heppner "C" volleyball
team traveled to Athena to
play Weston-McEwen on
Tuesday. Oct. 25.
The Fillies started out slow
in the first match but it didn't
take them long to get going.
The TigerScots started the
match with a good serve and
Heppner wasn't quite ready to
return the ball. The Tiger -Scots
were really serving the
baii well. After a tew mis
takes, the Fillies got back in
there and started to play
better but didn't give of them
selves enough to catch up so
the match went to Weston
McEwen with a score of 15-5.
Heppner went out on the
floor for the second match a
little more fired up. They were
moving and talking a little
more. The Fillies started hust
ling more and made a few
good saves but just didn't aget
it together and that match and
game went to Weston
McEwen with a score of 15-2.
"We couldn't serve well. It's
pretty hard to play against a
team that bumps sets and
spikes every time. It was a
letdown to lose since it was the
last game of the season," said
Coach Karen Howe.
