Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: Predictions of high feed costs for this
coming winter have caused the market to drop earlier in the
year than the usual October drop off - with no indication of
any immediate improvement. Light steer and heifer calves
were off $1 .00 with heavier feeder cattle dropping $3.00. Cows
and bulls held moderately steady.
NEXT SALE: Thursday, September 1st with a good run of
cattle expected.
