Lucky ticket holders Ron and Summer Cecil
gained ownership of a five-year-old Appaloosa
quarter horse which was given away last Sunday
by Heppner 's Hope Lutheran Church. The Cecil
family lives down Lexington way, near Dr. and
Mrs. Huber, and two of its most excited
members are probably teen-age daughter Laurie
and her younger brother, Larry.
The horse had been given to the church by
Mike and Sally Ingraham. Sand Hollow. Linda
Shaw of Heppner, who was in charge of the
ticket-selling project, stated that the church was
pleased with the campaign "It accomplished our
purpose."
