There were 41 buyers and 47 consignors represented at
Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: Compared to last week's hot market
this week's prices were down considerably, yet were
consistent with the market elsewhere. Cattle this week
generally had a heavier fill which combined with the fact that
many of the individual buyers were taking advantage of the
break in the weather to be out in their fields, kept the prices
out of the high range they hit last week. Cows and bulls held
steady.
