Thanks for supporting" BMCC
To the editor:
On behalf of the college
board and the college staff, I
want to take this method of
expressing our appreciation to
the voters in the south Morrow
County area for the support on
our recent budget election.
I am particularly pleased
with the positive vote in Mor
row County because its citi
zens do not have an equal
opportunity to take advan
tage of all the services provi
ded by the college. We do have
many find students form Mor
row County enrolled at the
college and those students
reflect a strong local high
school program.
As I visit in the communities
of Morrow County, I listen
carefully to the comments
made by residents of that
area. Those comments are
used in helping us control our
expenditures, thereby making
it possible for us to hold
budget increases and levy
Another big success
To the editor:
Sunday's second annual
Rolling Hills Walk-Run was
another big success. We were
excited and pleasantly sur
prised with the large turnout.
The event could not have been
successful without the help of
a lot of individuals.
We appreciate the helpof
the many volunteers who
braved the adverse weather to
help out.
We'd like to thank the mer
chants of Heppner and Lex
ington who donated prizes.
The Shoe Box who handled
T-shirt orders, the merchants
who put up window displays.

I also want to express my
personal appreciation to all
the people in south Morrow
County who assisted the
citizens Committee in support
of the college budget opera

name those people as too
many were involved to men

The college staff and college

we cannot please everyone,
