MARKET TREND: Yearling steers and heifers were
steady to $2.00 stronger calf trading steady. Butcher
cattle trading was moderate as dressed meat prices
nationally remain $1.00 - $3.00 down. Bred cows are selling
strongest for those cows that are bangs vaccinated and ready
for out of state shipment.
NEXT SALE: There will not be a sale Thursday,
December 23rd, however, we will be holding a regular sale on
Thursday, December 30. January 6th will be a special Stock
Ccw Sale with all cattle to be bleed and preg tested to be
eligible for out of state shipment. Wednesday noon will be the
cut off date for all cattle to be in the yards to allow ample
time for vet work to be done.
