Sarah Bourrie, three, took first place honors in a Pendleton
Grizzley Bear Coloring Contest recently. Sarah won in the
category for children age four and under.
She received a Grizzley Bear T-Shirt and a blue ribbon for
her efforts. She also had her picture taken with the Grizzley
Bear.
Sarah is the daughter of Wayne and Christy Bourrie of

igan. He pastored churches in
Washington. Alaska and Idaho
before coming to Heppner.
The pastor and his wife have
two children: Gary who is an
architect in Eugene and Ka
ren who is working on her
doctoral thesis in English at
Harvard. They also have a
foster daughter. Shirley Jen
sen, who lives in Spokane,
Wash, and a foster son, Wayne
Jensen, who is presently living
with them.
