There were 43 buyers and 68 consignors represented at
Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: The market on choice cattle was
steady with instances of a stronger market than a week ago.
Quite a lot of cattle are still going east. Buyers were selective
of quality with plainer cattle being discounted heavily. The
cow market has declined, however we did have a stronger
commercial and utility market than we had received reports
on earlier in the week.
NEXT SALE: Thursday, November llth. This Monday,
November 8th, the 10th annual Oveson Hereford Production
Sale will be held at La Grande Livestock, with 35 bulls and 10
heifers to be offered. Sale time will be 1:00.
