this past week were: Hale
Ridge, Stock Drive, B.
McLaughlin and Lonerock
Road. Bladed only were Fuller
Canyon and E.W, Stock Drive
Road.
On Willow Creek Road, soft
pots were dug up and replac
ed with base rock and gravel.
Then cold mix was bladed
over these areas.
In the Boardman-Irrigon
area brush was cut and
burned, and culverts cleaned
on: South Main - Kinkade
Road, Peters Road, Cemetery
Road, Irrigon Ordnance Road,
Nevada St., Boardman Irri
gon Road and Wilson Road.
Signs were reset on Kunze
Road.

There were 41 buyers and 90 consignors represented at
Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: The market varied from steady to
instances of 1.50- 2 00 lower. Light calves were off 1.50 while
light feeder steers in the 500-600 weight class were steady to
1.00 stronger. We had a large run of cattle with enough
buying power to hold the prices up throughout the sale. The
buvers were beina selective with plain cattle being
discounted heavily.
NEXTSALE: Thursday, October 28th with the regular run
of stuck to be about 1200 head with several nice drafts of
weaned calves consigned. Please contact John Kirby or La
Crande Livestock as early as possible regarding your
consignments as this asststa us in promoting your stock.
