There were 39 buyers and 74 consignors represented at
Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: The market was hot with plenty of
buyers in all classes. Heifers were up $3.00 $5.00 in all
weights. Steers were $2.00 $4.00 stronger depending on
class. The cow market was also up, however, bulls due to the
quality sold, showed no Improvement.
NEXT SALE: Thursday, October 21st. We already have
over 1500 head consigned. This includes 1000 weaned calves
and 500 yearlings. During this sale, at approximately 2:00
p.m., we will have a video sale at which time 110 white face
steers and heifers 650 - 700 lbs. and 50 holstein steers 650 -750
lbs. will be auctioned off. Please contact John Kirby or La
Grande Livestock as early as possible regarding your
consignments as this assists us In promoting your stock.
