Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: Cattle supplies the last week had been
more than adequate for the reduced demand shown with
buyers exhibiting a wait and see attitude due to the decline in
the futures market and the $3 $4 drop in dressed meat prices
in the northwest. However, by yesterday, a more active
market had developed holding the market here steady to
strong with heifers and cows showing a $1.00 improvement.
