No. 1's
There were 19 buyers and 58 consignors represented at
Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: Cows dropped off several dollars due
to the drop in dressed meat prices. While heavy feeder
heifers were in heavy demand earlier in the week, they
dropped back down on Wednesday and were a little weaker
than a week ago while steers remained fairly steady.
NEXT SALE: Thursday August 26th with several heavy
feeder steers and mixed cows consigned. The September 2nd
sale is still shaping up to be a hot feeder sale lets get these
cattle consigned - with the addition of Leland Gibbs to our
staff, we feel your livestock will be sorted and handled in a
manner that will help you receive a bigger market dollar for
your livestock. Come by and meet him, the coffee pot is on all
week.
