1982's Morrow County Mar
ket Stock Sale will be much
larger thin year. There will be
60 percent more large animals
wild and prohably double the
small animals sold compared
to last year's sale. This year's
sale will be August 25. at 8:00
p.m.
The big increase in large
animals comes from a big
increase in sheep, a small
increase in swine and steers.
Last year's sale had 74 large
animals sold; there will be

on Tuesday, August 24 as part
of the Family Fun Nite at the
Morrow County Fair.
If you were fortunate
enough to have some of Ho
sier's chicken at last year's
fair then you know it's going to
be good.
If you were among the esti
mated 150 people who were
turned away when the chicken
was all gone, you'll want to get
an advanced ticket this year.
Tickets will be available
starting Aug 17 at the Morrow
County Fair Office and the
OSU Extension Office.
Tickets are $6 00 for adults
and $3 50 for children. 12 and
under.
Get your tickets early so you
can enjoy good food and listen
to the music of Stoddard and
Cole at this year's Family Fun
Nite.

For the second year, the
small animal division will also
contribute to the sale. All
small animals will be judged
as fat stock and only "fat
stock" will be sold.
4 H and FFA exhibitors can
sell any two exhibits, as long
as they are not both steers. A
pen of three is counted as one
exhibit in the small animals;
or exhibitors may show a
single entry as one exhibit.
The large animals will be
sold first. Steers will be first,
then swine, then sheep. Small
animals will be sold after the
large animals.
