For the Morrow County cow
boys, they will be competing
for the much coveted saddles
given to the top all-around
cowboy and best calf ropers.
The saddles are donated
each year by Kinzua Corp. and
County Grain
the Morrow
Growers.
The Morrow County Fair &
Rodeo Court will participate
in the rodeo and the three days
of rodeo will prove to be great
entertainment once again for
everyone.
Have you ever heard of a
cake walk and how about a
cup cake walk? How about a
coke and a cupcuke walk for
beautifully decorated cakes?
That's news, and you'll find
it happening Tuesday, August
24, 4 00 pm, at county fair.
Cake decorating appealed to
many H memliers this year.
In addition to exhibiting their
cakes, they agreed 4 good way
to see thiit the cakes are
enjoyed is to sell them while
they are still fresh There'll
be a small charge to partici
pate, but the funds will
go to a worthy 4H cause
chosen by the members

Local
businessmen
to race mules
at rodeo
Businessmen from Hep
pner. I-xington. and lone will
compete in a race all their ow n
at Saturday's and Sunday's
performance of the Morrow
County Rodeo.
The local merchants will be
riding mules to the finish line
in this special race which
promises entertainment for
everyone.
Local cowboys from all over
the Northwest will come to
town next week for the annual
Morrow County and open
Rodeo.
The Morrow County rodeo
gets underway Friday night,
Aug. 27. beginning at 7 p.m..
and will feature many of the
local talented cowboys many
people like to see. Only those,
cowboys who have lived in the
county for at least one year
may enter the Friday night
show.
The open rodeo runs Satur
day and Sunday. August 28
and 29 starting at 1:30 p.m.
and will highlight cowboys
from all over the Northwest.
Cowboys will compete for
many prizes during both the
events, with spurs, blankets
