There were 68 buyers and 103 consignors represented at
Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: The market took the drop that we had
expected around the first of May with steers dropping $2.00.
Heifers held a little steadier showing a $1.00 drop. Cows were
steady with bulls falling off from last sales prices. In contrast
hogs found a hot market.
NEXT SALE: Thursday, June 3rd. This is next Thursday,
with no sale to be held the following Thursday June 10th as
this is the week of the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show
featuring 4-H, FFA classes, Rodeo, and Pari-Mutual Horse
Racing. Plan to attend.
