out of five bids. Principal
purchase was a laboratory
microscope with a light source

Memorial Hospital bid $761.
The microscope, purchased
new. would cost $3,000. said

purchased for the North
Morrow Medical Center was a
mechanical counter for the
lab. The price was $5. Many
supplies were also purchased
by lot, the administrator said.
Pioneer Memorial Hospital
successfully bid on four of
sixteen items. A stainless steel
tray cart was purchased for
$157. New. Felt said, the cart
would cost $700-$ROO. Iris large
enough to handle all the dinner
trays on the upper level of the
hospital, he added. The tray
cart will keep the food
warmer, and eliminate the
m-ed to cover all food items
leaving the kitchen, he said.

DECANTERS
The hospital also purchased
a complete electrocardiogram
machine, with supplies and
attachments for. $220. The
machine was purchased new
six years ago. he said, for
$t.40A. A stainless steel water
healing unit was also pur
chased for $2(1. The unit will be
used to warm lab specimens in
a water solution. Also pur
chased was a fifteen cubic fool
refrigerator. It will replace a
smaller unit and will be used
to store evening snacks for
patients. The price of the unit
was $127. The total amount
spent by the hospital on bids
was $r.'M. and the total for the
North Morrow Medical Clinic
was $RfiH.

effect in November 1981. It
allows a driver arrested for
DUH to agree with the court to
divert to the education or
treatment program if the
driver has no previous DUH
convictions or diversions. The
driver must pay a $275
diversion fee. Although diver

Inc., reported it has mailed
patronage to members in the
amount of $1,611,021 on April
13. This amount represents Um
profit on business done by
members with P.G.G. during
1961. Of the total amount,
,$323,370 was issued in cash
and the balance will be paid in
cash at a later date, to be
determined by the P.G.G.
Board of Directors, said a -P.G.G.

offered at Eastern Oregon
State College as early as
September, said a spokes per
; son from E.O.S.C.
Eligibility for the program
depends upon an applicant's
under -graduate grade point
average and score on the
Graduate' Management Ad
mission Test (GMAT).
Interested applicants still
needing to take the GMAT
have until Hay 18 to register
for the exam to be given June
23 in Boise. Idaho; Portland
and Walla Walla. Wash., the
spokesperson said.
