Heppner High School students elected the following students as student body officers for the
1982-83 school year: Wes Marlatt (L), president; Eric Thompson, vice president; Marti Baker,
secretary; Cathy Lindsay, assistant treasurer; Linda Englert, treasurer; and Anne McLaughlin,
business manager.

A Photography Safari will
be led by Poler Sc huetle to the
High Desert of Eastern Ore
gon May 9 to 15, stated a
release from Linfield College.
Throughout the week stu
dents will explore the Sleens
Mountain and Alvord Desert
area in the vast expanse of
Harney County. Homesteads
of early Oregon pioneers,'
thousands of . resident and
migratory birds, and herds of
wild antelope and Mule Deer
area few of the features of this
area. The photographer will
fine a varied terrain from the
desert plants to dwarf alpine
plants in the high country.
Peter Schui'lle, workshop
leader, is the best known
photographic artist in Bel
guim, Holland, France and
Germany and has Just publish
ed Country Life, a pictorial
book about Holland. He Is a
graduate of the Rochester
Institute of Technology, has
worked with Ansel Adams and
conducted photography work
shops in Yosemite, Kngland,
France, The Netherlands and
Wales.
