The meeting came to order
to discuss why Ihe proposed

defeated by 29 voles.
In seeking an explanation
among Ihe members of the
budget commillee. Commis
sioners Warren McCoy and
Dorolhy Krehs expressed
their unhappiness with cover

Hansen chosen for
'82 Junior Rodeo

Queen Kathy Hansen
The Morrow County Junior Rodeo is pleased to announce
the selection of Kathy Hansen as Queen of this year's show, to
be held June 11, 12 and 13 at the Fairgrounds in Heppner.
Queen Kathy, 17, is the daughter of Elmer Hansen of Pilot
Rock and Cathy Hansen of Heppner. She has competed in
Oregon High School Rodeo competing in barrel racing, pole
bending and goat tying. She qualified for the OHSRA finals
for the past three years, competing in pole bending during
her freshman year and junior year and goat tying her
sophomore year in high school. She was a princess on the 1981
Morrow County Fair and Rodeo court.
Kathy's school activities include being a member of the
G.A.B., Student Council, Varsity Cheerleader, annual and
newspaper staffs. After graduation this Spring, Kathy plans
to attend Lane Community College to achieve a degree in
Medical Assisting.
