State spelling bee
set for April 16

The annual state wide
spelling bee will begin in
Morrow County the week of
April 16 . A local spelling test
will be given to students
grades 4 - 6. 7-9. and 10-12.
Two students will be select
ed from each class room,
grades 4-6 and one from each
of the other grades, for a total
of twelve students, to partici
pate in the county-level spel
ling bee.
The Morrow County district
wide Spelling Contest will be
held at lone Junior -Senior
High on Thursday. April 22 at
7:30 p m Qualifiers from that
contest will compete in the
State Contest which is held
each year during State Fair in
Salem.
