Peck moved the cabin from its original location on a four
wheel trailer. The moving process took two days he said.
He said F.W. Vaughn built the cabin about the time of the
Spanish-American War (1898). Shorty said he found some
newspapers in the cabin's rafters which contained news of

and spinning wool by hand during the county fair.
