Cardinals held the Leopards,
forcing them into a punting

as quarterback Kennv Wells
hit Handv Abbott on a seven
yard touchdown pass Tbe run
for the extra points failed.
The Cardinals scored their
onlv touchdown of the game as
Tim Patton intercepted a
Leopard phnh and ran it back
79 yards for a touchdown. The
pass for the extra points was
donated a turkey for the
person bowling the most pins
over their average in any one
game, Chris Uivgren won the
turkey by bowling a game that

Murray proceeded lo inter

Holland came back for (he

for Cliff Dohertv. hul some

Holland was just as effec
tive on the ground as he was in
the air. He rushed for 58 yards
on in carries and completed
seven of 11 for 107 yards and
two touchdowns.
Murray rushed 44 yards on
six carries.

Ioe Rice led the Mustangs
with a game high of 28 points
according lo Ihe Heppner
coaches' defensive rating sys
tem. Murrav and Holland
wore close seconds, each had
21 points. Tom Huston
followed just behind with 19
points, including his intercep
tion in the fourth quarter.
Bier and Dohertv both were
in double digits with 12 and 10
respectively.

"Oakridge will be a com
pletely different kind of
game,' said Sporsen of next
week's game. "They are

game will be whether or not
