ramps.
An informal informational
session will be held, with plans
for the proposals on display, at
the Boardman High School
Library, 210 Boardman Ave
nue N.E. in Boardman, be
tween the hours of 2.00 p.m.
and 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday,
November 18, 1981. Interested
persons may examine the
plans and other pertinent
information developed by the
State Highway Division and
written views received as a
result of coordination with
other interested agencies.
State Highway Division engi
neering and right-of-way per
sonnel will be present to
discuss the proposal, includ
ing relocation assistance pro
grams, with those persons
who may be affected by the
project.
The formal public hearing
pertaining to the corridor and
design features will be held at
the Boardman High School
Auditorium, 210 Boardman
Avenue N.E. on November 18,
1981, beginning promptly at
7:30 p.m. at which time any
interested person desiring to
express an opinion pertaining
to the Highway Division's
proposal is invited to do so;
and in addition, may submit
written statements at the
hearing or to the Transporta
tion Commission within ten
(10) days after the public
hearing. Schedules for right-of-way
acquisition and con
struction will be discussed at
the formal hearing.
A statement regarding the
environmental effects this
proposed project will have on
the area will be available at
the informal and formal
hearings on November 18, 1981

Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: The market was up $2.00 on all classes
of steers and heifers with plenty of demand shown. Cows
were holding steady. The lamb market has come up a couple
of dollars while hogs are showing a sharp decline.
NEXT SALE : Thursday, October 22. Cattle are starting to
move with more buyers having orders to fill. The Oveson
Hereford Sale will be held at La Grande Livestock Tuesday,
November 17.
