touchdowns were culled back
in the first quarter. At the end
of the quarter the scoreboard
showed that no points had
been scored.
The Cardinals moved the
hall down to the 29 yard line,
where quarterback Denny
Starr found Donnie Taylor
wide open for the touchdown
pass, The run for the extra
point failed, the score now
showed the Cards with a 6-0
advantage.
After the ensuing kickoff the
Badgers were forced to punt.
Jeff Hams was in the back
field to receive for the
Cardinals. Hams ran the punt
return back 78 yards for the
touchdown. Starr hit Tim
Palton for the conversion, to
make the score 14-0 at the end
of the half.
The Cards scored the only
touchdown in the third quarter
on a 31 yard run by Hams. The
run for the extra points failed.
At the end of the third quarter ,
the Cards were on top 20 0
The Badgers scored first in
the fourth quarter on a 10 yard
run by Robert Holmes The
pass for the extra points
failed.
The Cardinals answered the
touchdown with a 75 yard .
kick off return by Jeff Hams
for his third touchdown of the
game. Starr passed to Patton
for the extra points. The Cards
were ahead 28-6 at the buzzer.
Leading rusher for the
Cardinals was Jeff Hams, who
rushed for 154 yards on 13
carries. Howard Leavitt rush
ed for 25 yards on nine carries,
and Craig Hams had 12 yards
on four carries. Denny Starr
completed seven of 12 passes
for 65 vards
The Cardinals rushed for 196
yards and passed for 65 for 261
yards in total offense. The
Badgers rushed for 74 yards
and passed for 147 for 221
vards in total offense

the new officers for the
coming year.

on Sunday. Teenagers have
donated their time as baby
sitters. Sunday school for
three to five year olds will also

parents.
