Small animal
projects new
at Fair
By BIRDINE TULLIS
Not all 4-H animals shown at
county fair are the large ones.
This year there will be
exhibits from Small Animal
Projects. Rabbits, chickens,
and ducks are also shown by
members as the judge makes
his determination for a blue,
red or white ribbon.
Pat Wright and Phyllis
Piper, Lexington, leaders for
a small animal project, tell us
that their members are
grooming animals now for
county fair. Some will be sold
at the market animal auction.
Look for the new exhibits in
the barn where Irene Anhorn,
superintendent, has the open
class poultry, rabbits, and
other small animals.
