The Heppner fiazrtte-Times, Heppner, Oregon, Thursday, May 21. 1981 FIVE jt Close to Home... Mary Ann Cerullo Love comes In many styed parkaes. You catl't frtntroMt? you may even hate It. but you can't live without It. Along with love cnmei death, often hand in hand. Most people don't really know how to deal wMh death cither, especially when it confronts them In their close knit liven. Some turn their heads and shy away. Others try to soothe away the grief and assure the ones left behind that the pain will patig. Having been the one grieving I realize that very often, not knowing what to do, caused the comforter to say the wrong thing. All that's really needed Is a hand for holding and ' perhaps a shoulder for some tears. When the shock of the loss has faded a bit, it won't be your words they'll remember. It will be your presence. .....and your prayers. Last Tuesday (May 12) Larry and 1 lost a dear friend. And today I would like to wish him well wherever he may be.
