as to whether Morrow County
had a leash law.
Ann Spicer, Morrow County
district attorney, was present
and replied that no. there
wasn't a leash law.
"The problem with a leash
law." Spicer said, "is that the
county needs a place to put the
roaming dogs, like a pound."
According to Commissioner
Dorothy Krebs, the installa
tion of a dog pound was
defeated by the voters around
Complaints may be filed an
a dog which continually tress
passes or chases livestock.
Such a dog may be named a
public nuisance, said Spicer.
The court's final decision
concerning Mrs. Greer's case
was for Mrs. Greer to keep her
dogs from roaming and be
coming a nuisance.
Spicer warned Mrs. Greer
that further complaints con
cerning the remaining dogs
could mean an order to have
the dgs destroyed.
