Cable TV moves to new location

The Heppner Cable TV
office has found a permananl
location at 116 E. Willow
Street. Heppner. behind Case
Furniture.
The office has been newly
painted, rewired, and carpet
ed by Arnie Hedman. owner of
the building.

counters and a desk.
Ron Forrar has been con
tracted to make a sign which
will hang over the sidewalk.
Nairns expects the sign to be
up by Arpil 4.
At present the office may
look bare, but. according to
Nairns, he will be adding some
wall decorations and expects
more from Home Box Office
when it arrives this summer.
Office hours for Heppner
Cable T.V. are Monday
through Friday. 10 a.m. to 12
noon. 1 to 3 p.m. and 3:30 to 5
p.m.

Several local young people
competed in the Scio High
School Rodeo held at Corvallis
March 28 and 29.
Results were as follows:
Tony Currin - First steer
wrestling; Second team rop
ing with Scott Scramsted,
Tenth calf roping.
Earl Hammond - Second
bareback: Fourth saddle
bronc.
Brett Sherer Second steer
wrestling.
Jeff Bailey - Third bare
back. Mike Currin Seventh calf
roping.
Cliff Dougherty - Second
calf roping: Seventh team
roping with John Roseberry.
Tara Mahoney Fifth Goat
tying: Fifth cow cutting.
Kathy Hanson - Eighth
polebending : Tenth barrel
racing.
Also participating in the
rodeo from Heppner were
Anne Van Schoiack, Lee Rice
and Jack McQuire.
Heppner won second place
in the team trophy with 86
points. The Redmond Pan
thers took first with 148's
points.
John Hall. Klamath Falls
won all-around boy and Holly
Amen. Redmond, took all
around girl.
The next high school rodeo
will be in Eugene on April 4
and 5.
Activity picks up at

With the coming of April and
warmer weather, activity will
be picking up at Willow Creek
Country Cluh, Members are
reminded to send due pay
ments to Sharon Harrison.
This year special identifica
tion tags will be provided for
all members.
The annual spring cleaning
day will be held Saturday,
April 4. with lunch provided by
the club. Members are asked
to show up about H a.m. and to
bring shovels, rakes, and
brooms. There will he no golf
played on the course that day.
