The Heppner Fillies game
against Hermiston was very
exciting even though the
Fillies lost, 39-44.
1 High point scorers were
Mary Kincaid with 13 and
Lynn Dee Devin with 10. High
rebounders were Sandra Ward
with 7 and Margaret Kincaid
with 6. Seven steals were
made by Mary Kincaid.
. Lynn Dee Devin was hurt
during this game's fourth
quarter when she slid into the
wall. Her knee injury kept her
from playing in Saturdays
game. Hopefully she will be
able to play in Thursday's
tournament game. Cyd Bow
man was also injured before
the game and didn't partici
pate. First quarter scores were
tied, but in the second and
third Heppner pulled ahead.
During the fourth however,
Hermiston caught up with and
passed the Fillies. Scores
were 10-10, 25-22, 33-29 and
39-44.
