A spinning, dyeing and
weaving class is being offered
each Tuesday at the lone High
School in home economics
room no. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. The
first class was held February
3 and classes will continue
through March 10.
Instructor for the class is
Vera Simonton. artist in
residence and there will be no
charge for her instruction.
No registration is required
for participation in the class.

honor school

A dessert honoring Heppner
High School leaders will be
held Monday. Feb. 9. at 7:30
p.m. in the high school
cafeteria.
The dessert, sponsored by
the Heppner High Student
Council, will recognize stu
dents who have put in "many
extra hours in club and class
activities."
All HHS class officers, club
officers, student body officers
and their parents and interest
ed individuals are invited to
attend. Each parent is asked
to bring a dessert.
Heppner High Student Body
President John Bier will act as
master of ceremonies and Dr.
Joe Gifford will be guest
speaker for the event.
