Gtn. tAenojT Larry MMm The Morrow County Grain Growers, Inc., is a cooperat ive where members buy shares in the corporation and any profit made by the company is returned to the shareholders. The co-op is run by a board of directors, consisting of 12 members, which gives direct ion to the management headed by general manager Larry Mills. President of the board is Gene Majeske, a 23-year member and wheat farmer who lives near Lexington. Vice president of the board is Lyle Peck; secretary is Larry Lindsay and board members are Joe McElligott, Gary Grieb, Allen Hughes, Roy Martin, John Ledbetter, Paul Hisler Jr., Bob Stevens, Ron Haguewood and Kenneth Nelson. In addition to the board of directors, the co-op also has an associate board of direct ors made up of five members who serve one-year terms. These members sit in at the board meeting but do not have voting power. Their function is one of education and training as future boardmembers. William Doherty, Monte Evans, Jim Swanson, Leonard Munkers and Chuck Nelson are members of the associated board of directors. Amil Swanson was the first general manager of the co-op, and Henry V.
