Rawlins builds the display, which is made up of many boxes large enough to hold each individual's bulk grain entry. A shelf above the boxes holds the grain sheaves Bulk grain entries must be 1 peck, allowing a little more in case of spillage. Sheaves must be 4 inches in diameter, cut close to the ground and tied with 3 strings. Rawlins said smaller sheaves are accept able at the Morrow County Fair Grain entries are judged according to Federal Grain standards. Rawlins sends samples of the grain entries to the State Fuir each year, with Morrow County entries always doing well in the statewide competi tion, Rawlins is looking forward to more entries this year because of the bumper wheat crops So all farmers and ranchers, enter your grain and hay in the liino Morrow County Fair. Prizes: County Rules All around rodeo rules Two Severe Bros, Saddles, donated by Morrow Grain Growers and Kinzua Corp. 1. You must be present to win either saddle. 2 Cowgirl or Cowboy must be one-year resident of county. 3 Contestant must have points in at least two events. 4 Must have qualifying run or ride to gain points. 5, Amateur Saddle winner can't win all around saddle, but will quulify for $50 Cutsforth award. 6. Dawn Timms, Bren da Mathis, Annette Wilgers, and Cindy Stroeber trucked their horses over for members from the other counties to judge for conformation, as well as saddling up to make a class on equitation.
