for the City of Heppner are the
Mayor and four Council posi
tions. The Mayor's position is
a two year term, and the
Council positions are three (3)
four year terms and one (1)
two year term. No person is
eligible to any elective office
fo the City of Heppner, who, at
the time of his election, is not a
qualified elector within the
meaning of the State Con
stitution, and who has not
, resided in the City of Heppner
for one year immediately
preceeding the election. To be
a qualified elector to sign the
nominating petition the elec
tor must be registered at the
Morrow County Courthouse.
With new laws governing the
time sequence, and allowing
time to certify with the county
