The Dregs came in third place at 35'v-32' and the Pytts were fourth at 34'2-334. The Gutter Dusters were next at an even 34 34 and the Newcomers finished sixth at 33 35. The board will hear a report from the committee on teacher evaluation which has been drafting a district evalu ation plan to conform to recent legal requirements. The board will also consider some requests for summer use of school vehicles and possible adjustment in the transpora tion policy. Other items on the agenda are extra duty assignments, hiring of new staff for next year, hiring of classified employees for next year and employee resignations. The board is also expected to consider a procedure to review the district's field trip policy. The county tax base is $307,990. If the county budget passes, taxpayers will pay, on a $00,000 piece of property, $214.20, up from $193.20 this year. Only homeowners were eli gible for state relief and that is why 1,400 persons filed for the relief while 5.000 county ac counts could not file for the relief. "It was our worst game of the season," Coach Brent Eggars said. "Our kids weren't ready to play and I can't understand why." Riverside scored its 11 runs on only five hits but took advantage of 12 walks and five Heppner errors. To improve chances of being seen, even in broad daylight, bicycle riders are urged to wear bright clothing. Lights and reflectorized clothing or markings should be the abso lute rule if riding at night, according to safety officials. Drivers should also remem ber that a bike rider may swerve into the path of a vehicle because of a pothole, glass or litter on the road, or a storm grate problems that are not hazards to vehicle drivers.
