crease in the history of our
republic. With the economy in
shambles and the American
Dream no longer a realistic
goal they are demanding $5.1
billion more in personal in
come taxes than they did last
year.

average for the entire class
41.5 percent.
The revised rate that was
put into effect last week
eliminates the 300 percent
increases.
The largest increase in
billing is for a 10 horsepower
pump that uses 5,000 kilowatt
hours a year. The increase is
120.8 percent from $120 to $265.
That same irrigator did face a
bill of $468 or a 290 percent
increase with the original
revised rate.
The smallest increase will
be for an irrigator with a 650
horsepower pump that uses
1.153.600 KWH a year. That
irrigator will have a 16.5
percent increase from
$15,964.50 to $18,596.70. That
irrigator would have a 10.8
percent increase 1 from
$15,964.50 to $17,702.40 if the
first revised rate had been
adopted.
