There were 25 buyers and 45 consignors represented at
today's market. Market trend: Due to limited comparable
classes in recent weeks, no price trends are firmly
discernable, however, the market was off this week. High
interest rates remain a deterent to feedlot placements.
Feeders are weaker than fats, but the coming of spring grass
should stimulate this market. We are expecting a good run of
cattle on the. 13th with several consignments of calves and
cows already in.
