of pre-fair activity
It happens every year...
Along about the first week of
August, a strange thing hap

It's not a chronic disease... it
disappears just about the first
of September! It's county fair
that triggers the attack...
Symtoms are easily recog

looking through cookbook-;, or
pattern books, and magazines,
looks a lot at the pots and pans
or sewing machine and con

a lot about what the judge will
say...
At this stage, she may go to
the kitchen and try a recipe or

the sewing machine and sew a

culinary exhibits
New additions to fair events
keep popping up all the time !
On Monday afternoon, Aug.
20, fair audiences will be
treated to culinary exhibitions
by the local Cowbelles and by
a representative of the Wheat

sharing information on meat

for wheat products.
Also in conjunction with the
food demonstrations will be a
wheat weaving demonstration
by Francine Evans. Ruth
Nutting, voce president of the
local Cowbelles group will be
in charge of meat cookery
demonstrations.
It is hoped that additional
food demonstrations from
other commodity groups will
be arranged for the same
date.
Look for the new addition to
fair activities in the kitchen
between the two main exhibit
halls. A schedule of events and
demonstrations will be posted
for your convenience.

The middle week of August
finds the occasion drawing
treacherously near. The mem

whirlwind and leaves a trail of
disorder behind. Not to be
distracted now, the sewing
machine and kitchen are her
domain. Stay out of the way.
Don't touch that cake or

activity, more stress. Every
