The $2.50 buttons allow
admission during fair week.
Separate prices are charged
for the dinner at Family Fun
Night and rodeo shows and
dances. Daily admission is
$.75 cents apiece.
Pre-schoolers will be admit
ted free as well as senior
citizens. Delpha Jones, chair
man of the fair committee,
said Morrow County is one of
few fairs not charging admis
sion to senior citizens.
The fair buttons help defray
the expenses of the fair and
according to Mrs. Jones,
provide about its only income
except for concessions.
Senior citizen passes are
available through the Neigh
borhood Center or from the
Fair Secretary. 4-H and FFA
passes may be obtained
through the County Extension
Office.
The fair committee takes
special pride in senior citi
zens, dedicating the 1979
premium in their honor.
"The Senior Citizens of
Morrow County are in many
cases, children or grandchild
ren of the early bunch
grassers and business people
who came here when the land
was young and new when the
grasses on the hillsides were
belly deep to a tall steer and
when people often grew up,
lived out their lives and died
within 100 miles of where they
were born. For these reasons
and many others, it is deemed
fitting that this year's prem
ium book be dedicated to the
seniors of Morrow County and
the times during which they
have lived'
