Lexington Grange will meet
Mpnday evening for its reg
ular monthly session. The
evening will start at 6:30 p.m.
with a potluck dinner followed
by the meeting at 8 p.m.
The meeting will include
election of officers and a short
program with special music
and Halloween entertainment.
Pomona Grange will meet
Oct. 28 at the Lexington
Grange Hall beginning at 10
a.m. with dinner at noon. The
W.A.C. Program, under the
direction of Ed Martin, will be
announced later.

Two Lexington men
with Army at Ft. Knox
Two former Lexington grad
uates of Heppner High School
are now stationed with the
U.S. Army at Fort Knox,
Kentucky.
Jack Yocom, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Yocom, has finished
basic training and is going to
diesel mechanic school there.
Russell Roarke, son of Mr.
and Mrs. B. Roarke, is
receiving his basic training
there.

Homecoming mums
now on sale
Homecoming mums for the Heppner High
School Mustangs game against Wasco Oct. 27
should be ordered well in advance. Priced in the
$5-6 range, persons may order mums by calling
the High School office at 676-9138.
Mums may be picked up after school on
Friday, Oct. 27 or at the gate that evening.
A full slate of Homecoming Week activities
will appear in next week's Gazette-Times,
including a list of those activities to which the
public is invited.
