NOTICE OF ELECTION
ON SERIAL LEVY FOR A
NEW FIRE TRUCK FOR
THE TOWN OF LEXINGTON
Notice is hereby given that
on Nov. 7, 1978 at the general
election, an election will be
held to determine whether the
Lexington Town Council shall
be authorized to levy and
collect additional taxes out
side the limitations imposed
by Article XI, Section 11, Con
stitution of the State of
Oregon, for the period of six
years beginning July 1, 1979
and ending June 30. 1985 in th
amount of $7,400.00 annually
for (6) six successive years.
The funds so raised shall be
expended for the purchase of a
new fire truck and equipment
for said vehicle.
If the foregoing tax levy is
approved, the Town of Lex
ington Council is authorized to
immediately order a new fire
truck and equipment.
