The closest team to lone was Wamic with 207 points, fol lowed by Arlington, Dufur and Fossil, all with 189, Maupin and A.C. Houghton with 125 and Wasco with 58. Don Taylor, Howard Leavitt and John Murray were all double winners for the Cards. Taylor's wins came in the intermediate 100 meter low Jr. Card The lone Jr. High girls team also scored well at Arlington, as Margaret Doherty won the 100 yard dash and the 440 relay team of Mary Kincaid, Anne Murray, Kris Pettyjohn and Doherty also placed first. Peck earned the save by whiffing one batter and forc ing another to end the inning on a ground out. Heppner got on the board in the first on a single by Peck, a walk and an error. Two more runs were added in the second on a pair of walks, two sacrifices and Bryan Marlin's single. In the fifth, one run was scored as Peck and Mike Stookey both connected for hits and the Mustangs ended the scoring in the sixth when Marlin and Jim Kenny singled and were knocked home by Peck's double. The classmates, taught by Sue Dicker, plan to compete in a total of seven different events at the Regional Special Olympics Track Meet to be held at Easter Oregon State College. Divided according to age groups, all the Heppner participants will take part in the 50-yard dash and the softball throw events. Tina Carey will also enter the sack race, while Kevin Chick and David Burkenbine plan to add both the sack and 3-legged races to their schedule. Worden went all the way on the mound, giving up a lone run in the first on a walk, sacrifice and an error. He recorded six strikeouts and four walks in his second well-pitched complete game of the season. Heppner took the lead in the fifth ining, scoring two runs on singles by Mike Stookey, Worden, Bryan Marlin and Jim Kenny.
