We, the District School
Board of School District No. 1,,
Morrow County, Oregon, the
election authority for such
district, hereby certify that
pursuant to a Resolution duly
adopted by the Board at a
special meeting thereof held
at Boardman, Oregon, begin
ning at 7:30 p.m., on January
23, 1978, a Bond Election will
be held throughout such dis
trict between the hours of 8:00
a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on March
14, 1978, for the purposes set
forth in the ballot title and
statement of purpose of such
election, which reads as
follows :
$4,800,000.00 School District
No. 1 Building Bonds.
Shall School District No. 1 of
Morrow County, Oregon, con
tract an indebtedness of not to
exceed $4,800,000.00 in general
obligation Building Bonds to
mature serially over a period
of not to exceed 15 years from
issue date, for the purpose of
providing funds with which to
acquire, construct, recon
struct, improve, repair, equip,
or purchase a school buildings
or additions thereto; tj ac
quire or to improve all proper
ty, real and personal, appurte
nant thereto or connected
therewith; and to provide for
the payment of the debt?

March 26, 1976 in Heppner,
Oregon. Said note provides
that in case suit or action is
instituted to collect this note
or any portion thereof, the
Defendant promises to pay

court may adjudge reasonable
for attorney's fees. Plaintiff
has been obligated to employ
an attorney for the purpose of
prosecuting this action and the
sum of $500.00 is a reasonable
sum to be allowed to the
Plaintiff for attorney's fees;

Issue is to provide funds for
the construction of school
buildings in Boardman, and
Irrigon, reconstruction and
improvement of present
school facilities at Boardman
and Irrigon, remodeling and
improving facilities at Hepp
ner and lone.
The proposed Bond Issue is
for $4,800,000.00; the term of
the bonds will not exceed 15
years from issue date ; and the
bonds will be general obliga
tions payable from property
taxes.

GIVEN TO THE ELECTION
OFFICER of School District
No. 1, Morrow County, Ore
gon, that the District Board of
such District, by Resolution
adopted by such board has
designated the Heppner Gazette-Times,
a newspaper of
general circulation printed
and published in Morrow
County, Oregon, as the news
paper in which this Notice and
the facsimile of the Sample
Ballot, list of Polling Places,
and the hours of the Election,
shall be published, and that
this Notice shall be published
in full in the next available
issue of such newspaper.
