comments on the lone Draft
Comprehensive Plan on Mon
day. January 16, 1977. at 7:30
p.m. at the Innc City Hall.
Copies of the Draft Compre
hensive Plan were mailed to
all residents of lone on Friday,
January 6, 1978.
The lone Draft Technical
Report will be available for
review beginning in January,
1978. at the lone City Hall, the
Morrow County Planning De
partment in Heppner. the East
Central Oregon Association of
Counties office in Pendleton,
and the Department of Land
Conservation and Develop
ment office in Salem. Material
will be added to the technical
report as developed through
May, 1978. The draft plan
objectives will be revised,
after review and comment, to
, be adopted as city policy.
Land presently in agricul
tural use has been included
within the proposed urban
growth boundary. After adop
tion of the plan and growth
boundary any land within the
boundary may continue to be
farmed until the landowner
decides to convert the land to
urban uses. Such conversion is
subject to city, county, and
state policies and regulations.
