The big event is scheduled to take place in the Catholic Parish Hall on Saturday, Dec. 3. Demonstrations by area artists and craftDersons are always a crowd-pleaser and this year's line up promises to be no exception. At 10:30 a.m. Erin Evans will start the show with her "One for All" demonstration on how to make individualized pillows. She will be followed at 11 a.m. by Sandi Campbell with Portrait Sketching and Helen Daltoso at noon with Holiday Mints. At 1 p.m. Francine Evans will demon strate Christmas Wheat De corations followed by Jan Evans at 2 p.m. with Dough Art. Marv Peterson at 3 p.m. will demonstrate Silk Screen ing. In the Kiddie's Corner, Ken Curtis will show how to make apple head dolls at 10:15 a.m., Jan Evans will demonstrate dough art at 1 :30 p.m. and Ann Evans plans to demonstrate puppet making ideas at 2:30 p.m. The Morrow County Cre ative Art Show will be an all-day exhibit at the Artifac tory. Demonstrations which will last throughout the day in clude working with stained glass by Mike and Gregg Sweek, making pottery by Ron Farrar and quilting and patch ing by Theta Lowe. Table space is still available for those who want to sell their homemade wares and can be reserved by contacting Pat Edmundson or Karen Beck. Robert McMillan Reporter Wheeler Dealers handle potluck The Wheeler Dealers CB Club will hold a potluck dinner at the Masonic Hall in Fossil on November 18 at 7 p.m. All members are asked to bring a main dish and one other dish. The Wheeler Dealers wish to invite all past members and any other Wheeler county residents interested in CB radios to join them at dinner. Call 763-4903 in Fossil or 768-2861 in Kinzua for more information. r (3 Kinzua news Barbara Pike 768-2861 John Weaser went to La Grande Wednesday to visit with his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Carpenter. John and Mr. Carpenter spent most of the time before this return home Sunday evening out hunting elk. Dispite elk season, there was a good turn out of Kinzua and Fossil residents at Culver on Saturday for the Falcons final game of the season. Wheeler lost 94 to 62 in a game that was exciting all the way. This is the last time Wheeler will play a football game with Culver, since next year Culver will play as an "A" school. Don and Rose Hardwick went to Portland Oct. 29 on business. Before coming home Sunday, they went on to Corvallis to see their son Donnie. Don's parents, John and Theresa Hardwick, ar rived from Bend to spend several days visiting and hunting. John Scarlette, also from Bend, was here with his grandparents to visit the Hardwicks. Church youth group offers appreciation Member of the Senior Unit ed Methodist Youth group who were trick-or-treaters for UNICEF in Heppner the night before Halloween said they were happy to report that a "heartwarming" 98 per cent of the people canvassed "opened up their wallets, pockets and piggy banks" for the organization. The group included Janice Sherman, Barbara Devine, Dee Hedman, Linda Bier, Lela Breidenbach, Ron Young, De ann Connor, Debbie Klaus and Vicki Tollefson.
