highlight fair pavillion displays
With all those good things
going on out in the sunshine at
the Fair, don't forget to pay a
visit to the pavillion where
displays include everything
from canned peaches to baby
bonnets.
All of the 18 community
booth displays have been
occupies by various organiza
tions eager to show the
community what they've been
up to for the past year.

The Morrow County Wheat
Growers is encouraging en
tries in the Wheathearts
Baking Contest at the Fair.
The group is offering $50 to the
contest winner to help defray
costs of a trip to Portland in
December to test their recipe
against other county winners
at the wheat growers convention.

collectors' corner under the
supervision of Harold and
Edna Peck, the children's
corner overseen by Monica
Jones and the flower exhibit
arranged by Delpha Jones.
, Also present will be the
vegetable exhibit under the
direction of Betty Christman,
hobbies and crafts with Mar
lene Gray, art and photos
supervised by Tana Bunch
and a teen corner supervised
by Lynn Gochnauer.
Ruth Bergstrom's needle
work area is always a popular
stop as well as Marilyn
Bergstrom's clothing exhibit,
Bebe Munkers canning area
and the food section under the
direction of Helen Currin and
Sue Vinson.
Many varities of wheat will
be on display under the
supervision of Bill Rawlins
and D.O. Nelson and Bob Kroll
will amaze the crowds with
their potato collection.
Farm equipment will be on
display through the courtesey
of the Morrow County Grain
Growers, Sperry-New Holland
and Buttercreek Equipment.
Diamond R and Loomix will
feature cattle shutes and feed
supplements while the State
Forestry Dept. and the Kinzua
Corp. will also contribute
exhibits.
After all that looking
around, you might want to
purchase some leathercraft,
cosmetics, stained glass or
assorted food items from the
booths located throughout the
pavillion.
