Working for you and with you, always...
What do Hopsy, Mopsy, Febe,
Fuzz, Wimpy, Cindy, Hermy
and Harriet have in common?
They are all at least slightly
out of the ordinary animals
that live under the watchful
eye of Irene Anhorn Hep
pner's resident collector of
animal oddities.
Irene says she's not exactly
sure how many feathered,
four legged or fur-covered
County Fair this year and the
two are expecting an inter
esting collection to be on hand.
Last year, Fair judges award
ed a whole stack of blue
ribbons to Irene's animals and
this year some of the gang is
returning for more.
Irene's pigmy goat was a
big hit last August and
Wimpy, a year older but not
much bigger, will be back for

friends she has at the moment
but the list is almost sure to
include a few surprises for
everyone. She keeps them
housed and fed in various
enclosures placed about her
yard. The critters have even
taken over most of the porch
until a woodshed can be
converted to another mini-zoo.
Irene and Jerry Rood will be
in charge of the poultry and
rabbit exhibit at the Morrow
another visit.
"I hadn't really planned to
enter anything in last year's
fair," Irene said. "But I took
Wimpy and some others down
and found out that most people
had never even seen a real
pigmy goat."
A new addition this year will
be two baby Chinchillas which
recently arrived in time for
