The following persons and
businesses have volunfeered
machinery, time and effort
on the Lion's project.
Dick Wilkerson, six hours scraper work, two
and a half days dozer work;
Pat Patterson, a half day dozer work, two and
a half days grader work;
Doc Sherer, three days shovel work;
Don McEwen, a day on the dozer, a half day
loading;
Bert Corbin, a day of dozer work and a half day
of loader work;
Randy Lott, a half day of loader work;

Morrow County Grain Growers, a week's use of
a flatbed dump truck and the use of a low
boy;
City of Heppner, six days use of flatbed dump
truck;
Dave Harrison, John Eclmundson and Jim llishart head the Lion's
project which has seen work crews on weekends, after work, even
after dark readying the track for its April 19 debut.
The following civic minded businesses and persons contributed the space to salute the Lion's work
Columbia Basin Electric Cooperative, ten days
use of flatbed dump truck, three days
blasting work, three days shooting levels and
all the gas in the equipment;
Pettyjohn's Hardware, two days use of dump
truck;
- Tom Wilson, two hours loader work;
: Kinzua Corporation, two hours use of loader;
Jim Phegley, a day and a half dozer, work;
Gary Grieb, a day and a half of loader work;
Steve Rhea, a day and a half loading;
D.O. Nelson, a day of loader work;
Dallas Craber, use of packer;
" Wilbur Gourley, granite from pit promised;
- Ron Wiemer, ran D.O. Nelson's loader;
- and Pat Cutsforth, hauling a low boy.
The project is also the work of Lions' work
crews, to the tune of more than 30 Lions and
? community volunteers. .
