NEW ARRIVAL Orselio Mario and Dahlia Ruiz are the parents of a brand new baby boy born Tuesday, Mar. 8, at The Dalles General Hospital. The baby, named William, weighed in at slightly over six pounds. POTLUCKAND SINGSPIRATION TO BE HELD A potluck and Singspiration will be held at the Kinzua Church Annex on Wednesday, Mar. 30, at 6 p.m. The evening is open to all ; you are urged to attend. GIRL SCOUT WEEK CELEBRATED Kinzua Girl Scout Troop 627 and the Kinzua Brownie Troop 439 started Girl Scout Week (Mar. 6-Mar. 12) by attending services at the Kinzua Com munity Church on Mar. 6. FRIENDSHIP CLUB MEETS The Friendship Card Club met Monday evening at the home of Patsy McMinn. Win ner of the prize for high game was Shirley Orr. Second high went to Jeannie Morley. Shir ley and Jeannie also won the pinochles. Other members enjoying the evening's play were Dinah Jackson, Sharon Bell, Karen Cossitt, Laurie Hire and Ruth Carey. BIRTHDAY PARTY HELD AT MITCHELL HOME Windi Mitchell was honored at a party held Friday to celebrate her tenth birthday. The honoree and her guests played games, opened gifts and enjoyed birthday cake and ice cream. Among those helping Windi celebrate her big day were Rob Conlee, Cissi Wallis, Robin Mattison, DeRina Reid, Scott Conlee, Jodi Mattison, Tara Baker, Lana Reid, Clark Wallis, Shayne Benson, Cindy Mitchell and Dana Reid.
